Final hanging for Cardiff Met Degree Show.

Final prints are now embossed and completed - the embossing forms a sense of conclusion in each individual piece, and in terms of unity and connection within the groups.

Hanging trials. I hung these temporarily to try different groups and orders. I wanted to create a sense of balance in colour and space of the picture plane, in both each group and across the whole of the space of wall. I try to create a visual link between the pieces in each group where by the forms extend to the edges of the paper and point and line, the direction and angle at which the forms point.

I arranged each piece on the floor before hanging to get a first impression of which pieces could be grouped together.

Collage mock ups for potential compositions. Coloured printed newsprint and tissue paper on black cartridge paper with embossing.

Final screenprints embossed. 76 cm x 112 cm all first and only editions. 26 compositions in total.
